The Group works as subsidiary of the Environmental Committee of the Construction Industry Council (CIC) to keep Members up to date and informed of developments in the field of contaminated land and the environment. Provides advice and feedback to other organisations, committees (eg BSI) and government bodies on documentation and policy. It is currently preparing a guidance document to assist Members to combine geotechnical and geoenvironmental site investigations.
